As you can think from the name, stainless steel cookware is cookware made of stainless steel. The cookware is extremely durable and does not chip like non-stick pans and pots. Their longevity value is also greater than other types, which include ceramic and earthenware. They are rust proof and aluminum-free, and do not react with food materials. This ensures safe and healthy meals for you and your whole family!

How to buy stainless steel:

Before you go out and buy a set just by reading the paragraph above, STOP! Because if you are planning to buy one, you need to know that it comes in two different series, both of which are suited for different people with different budgets and preferences.

The 300 series:

This series is very cheap but trades the price with its durability and corrosion resistance. It further comes in 2 grades, the 304 and 316. The first is less strong, while the latter is more hard and resistant to rust. But, with great power comes a great difference in price.

The 400 series:

This series is the one you should opt for if you are planning to buy stainless steel cookware just for your health and safety as it is more resistant to rust and corrosion and more durable than the lower series. It will surely be more expensive, but you can’t find a better material in the market than steel.

Now that we understood the types of stainless steel, I should tell you another thing. Stainless steel isn’t a good conductor of heat. For that, you should get clad cookware. It is cookware made of stainless steel, but consists of 3 layers. The outermost and innermost layer is made of steel, while the middle one is made of aluminum or copper, which are both good conductors of heat. This means that the middle layer will conduct the heat, but won’t affect the food as it is between 2 material layers which are not reactive at all.

Now that you know all the nooks and crannies of stainless steel cookware, you should go and buy it! If you need a suggestion, read on!

The Trendy Minimalist Kitchen Style

I’ve always wondered how it’d be like to redesign my kitchen. It already is the most used room in the house since I spend so much time in it. Right now, my kitchen looks like it is trapped in the 90’s compared to the rest of my house. Especially, with Alexa on my dining table. Then, as I was surfing the net for ideas and I came across this interesting site.

Every consumer on the face of the earth keeps adding more and more things to their homes. I know nobody can stand in the way of tech but I still have my old PS 1 lying around in my attic. So, clutter is becoming a real issue. This is exactly why a minimalist design of a kitchen really appeals to me. It’s clean, trendy and my family will definitely feel more comfortable at my home. Not to mention that my mother loves to cook. Plus, I could host dinner parties and make my friends feel more cozy at my home. It’s logically a win-win situation in all aspects. Since I already had stainless steel cookware there wasn’t much more I needed to do.

Here’s a snippet of the post I read.

There are many ways to create a minimalist home in 2017. Here are a few tips to help you create a clutter-free living space for the New Year:

Be creative with storage

Look for creative ways to improve the storage situation in your home so that you can keep important items without having your house look like it’s overrun with clutter. This could be as simple as purchasing and assembling sliding drawers that use up the wasted space under your bed. You could also speak with a contractor about installing new cabinets in your kitchen.

Build catch-all shelving for common spaces

One of the biggest problems facing homeowners is shelf space. You can improve the look and feel of your living room or other shared spaces by constructing catch-all shelving. Additional shelving allows you to put books, photos and other decorative items in one place. Extra storage will help you avoid clutter and clogged drawer space.

Remodel the kitchen with an island

A kitchen island will help you cut the clutter in your home. Minimalist kitchen islands offer smart storage for pots and pans and provide a centralized place to prepare and serve meals for yourself, friends and family.

Decorate with white

There’s nothing more minimalist than using white and neutral colors to create a spacious feel in each room. You can achieve this look with white sheets, pillow cases and throw rugs. You can also overhaul all your home’s decor with a white or neutral flair.

Eliminate the clutter by donating

There are a few ways to boost your minimalist approach without spending money. Compile your old clothes, extra kitchen items and unused electronics and donate them to your local Salvation Army or other charity.

Here are a few ways to get started de-cluttering:

Hang up clothes in your closet with the hangers facing out. As you go through your wardrobe in the weeks ahead, the items with the hooks still facing outward aren’t getting much love and might be a perfect item for donation. Look for multiples of kitchen items. Having more than you use just takes up space. Collect unused or extra kitchen items and donate them to your local charity or Salvation Army. They will certainly appreciate the stuff that you might call junk. You will never know how such a small action can brighten up someone’s day.

De-cluttering your home in 2017 won’t happen overnight. But with a determined effort, you can make sure to enjoy a minimalist home setting in 2017.

What Are The Differences Between Coffee And Espresso Machines?

Get to know more about coffee and espresso machines

At least once in your life you saw both espresso and coffee machines working hand by hand and stood in awe wondering “What is the difference between them anyway?” Well, you are not alone! Many people, including myself, wondered what the difference between those seemingly similar machines is. So today, we will discuss all of the differences between them to answer the question we always asked ourselves! If you wanted to know ore tips & reviews about coffee and espresso machines try looking for  because they know what they are talking as well as reviewing about.

Coffee And Espresso Machines

The first is the difference of the method of extraction, or in simpler words, the brewing methods. Espresso makers take beans and force boiling water into them at very high pressures, using a manual pump that you operate. The pressure required is at least 9 bars, and most machines come with 15 bar configurations. A coffee machine, however, is the complete opposite. It penetrates through the beans with sharp filters designed for cutting thick materials, and slowly sucks the life out of the coffee beans, evidently letting them drop into the pot underneath through gravity.

Therefore, the quality of the coffee machine tends to be greater than espresso machines, but is cut off because of the extraction times. An espresso machine takes a maximum of 30 seconds, while a coffee machine can take up to 5 minutes for a single cup.

The second difference is the grounding size. Espresso machines are very strict in this regard, as the bigger the beans are, the more force they will take to crush. So, they need to be finely grinded before brewing, and can be done with the help of the burr grinder that comes with many espresso makers. Coffee machines are more forgiving in this matter, as it doesn’t have any recommended bean size, and works equally well with both fine and big coffee bean sizes.

The third is the amount of beans required. Since the beans of an espresso machine are finely grinded, it doesn’t require much as opposed to coffee makers. In a rough estimate to give you the idea, an espresso machine takes no more or less than 7 grams for 1.5 oz. of water, while coffee machines require more than 50 grams for 6 oz. of water. I’ll calculate the rest for you, so in the end, you save 22 grams of coffee when you use an espresso machine.

The fourth and last is the learning curve. Espresso machines operate through countless factors, which take time to learn and master, and if done wrong, the resultant will taste like a burnt cup of milk (I know milk evaporates, so you can say I just tried to make a bad statement) Coffee machines are relatively easier and require few steps to achieve the best quality of coffee. Just pour the water, add the beans, and let it brew!
